EWEA messe deltakelse (norwegian)

UPTIME International AS er denne uken på EWEA messe i Amsterdam.(© EWEA – European Wind Energy Association 2009-2011). De viser her frem sine innovative aksessløsninger for offshore vindkraft.

We have moved!

Certifications

Uptime gangways will always be built after newest updated standard:

Most gangways are DnVGL St-358 approved, available here.

The gangways can be approved after NORSOK and other HSEQ scemes.

Helidecks

The Uptime helideck is HCA approved and is based on the Marine Aluminium helideck with its UK CAA: CAP 437, Norwegian CAA: BSL D5-1 SOLAS approvals.

The roll compensation model will make it possible to have the helideck upgraded at least one class on the same vessel.

Motion compensated helidecks

With Uptime Helideck, the relative position of the helideck is fixed beneath the helicopter during landing.

Combining “Uptime motion compensation” with Marine Aluminium’s lightweight helideck designs, Uptime Helideck eliminates the relative movement between helideck and helicopter.
This makes helicopter landings safe regardless of vessel movement.

Using Uptime’s roll compensation, a vessel’s helideck can be upgraded from category B+ to A+ (during daylight) by the helideck’s certification agency.

Uptime Helideck is delivered as a turnkey package according to the applicable regulations with all required safety features.

Helidecks all over the world ara a critical and practical access method on hospitals, highrise buildings, oil platforms, windmills and other structures.

Our partner Marine Aluminium is the market leader for aluminium helicopter decks, both for onshore and offshore use.

UPTIME offers these same helidecks with roll motion compensation, increasing the landing window for most vessels or floating platforms dramatically.

The helideck is made in seawater proof aluminium, making for a durable and lightweight construction. The substructure is available in aluminium or steel, while the drive system can be fitted with hydraulic or electric drives.

Helidecks are of standard design, but the foundation and drive system is of custom design where vessel characteristics and other parameters must be taken into account when constructing the system

Uptime Gangway 19,4

The Uptime Gangway 19.4 is a well-known construction from Marine Aluminium:

Uptime Gangway 19.4

The Uptime Gangway has a nominal length of 19,4m. The telescope function is +/- 4m, it adds or subtracts 4m from the nominal length.

The Uptime control software enables three operating modes:

Landing Mode: The Gangway will be compensated actively during the landing procedure. After the gangway has been landed it will be put into passive mode, making the gangway follow the relative movements as long as needed.

Constant load mode: The gangway will be motion compensated actively during the landing procedure. After landing the gangway will be positioned relative to the landing point, maintaining stable pressure on the landing point.

Hover mode: Focusing on landing the gangway as smooth as possible, the gangway will use active motion compensation (AMC) mode to position and maintain the gangway tip at a fixed point relative to the landing area on a fixed installation.

We offer a range of accessories and customisations for other applications, see our accessory list or contact us for more information.

Gangways

Gangways are in use all over the world as a critical and practical access method from a vessel to platforms, windmills and other structures.

Our partner Marine Aluminium has delivered numerous such gangways over the course of years. Several gangways have a operating period counted in decades.

UPTIME offers these same constructions with full motion compensation, making it possible to land delicately on any structure without any specific adaptations on the receiving end. The gangways are also 100% open under operation, so personnel can cross the gangway without engaging a specific mode, even hundreds can cross without the system having to be parked or moved to ensure access.

The gangway is made in seawaterproof aluminium, making for a durable and lightweight construction. With a reference list of hundreds of helidecks, we can prove that the structural integrity of the construction is well taken care of.

Please look at the specific models we offer. We also offer a custom design option, where length and other parameters can be agreed upon after customer input and request.

About us

Uptime AS develops, markets and installs motion compensated equipment. We have a few select suppliers, such as ICD AS who has made control systems for motion compensated equipment and advanced vessel systems for over a decade. Marine Aluminium is the market leader in aluminium helidecks and large gangways.

Uptime has developed the world’s first motion compensated helideck, dramatically increasing the landing window on the PGS vessels “Ramform Sterling” and “Ramform Sovereign”.

Solutions for smaller vessels and other types of motion compensated equipment is being developed, stay tuned to see what’s new!

Fully compensated workdeck

UPTIME also offers a fully compensated workdeck, which can be used as:

  • workdeck for transporting equipment to be craned off (can use a crane without motion compensation)
  • helideck for drone helicopters (will ensure stable footing after landing, preventing accidental liftoff or slide)
  • base for marine cranes, giving you heave compensated cranes based on standard cranes
