The Norwegian Prime Minister visited Uptime

Good news travel fast and everyone want to have a look

The Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg visited UPTIME INTERNATIONAL AS September 3rd. This to take a closer look at worlds first autonomous gangway, together with this did the Prime minister also tried an alternative career as gangway operator in our training simulator.

Our own Alf-Magnar Liknes presenting our Uptime 30m gangway to Erna Solberg and the entire Norwegian broadcasting.

Erna Solberg stated that, with our(Norway) good expertise within oil & gas, we also should be able to take the lead in offshore wind.

Uptime Gangway day 2019

More than 50 professionals from Oil & Gas and the offshore wind industry visited Uptime for our Gangway Day 2019. Main attraction was of course our live presentation of worlds first Autonomous gangway. The presentations with several landings “without hands” went very well, stating an increased operability and safety for the users.

Uptime 30m amc autonomous gangway can be delivered as Typ1 and Type2 gangway and do also have a crane function making it able to lift 4 ton

We will also highlight that the gangway have a slipp-off detection/function, that the HPU are skid-mounted to be integrated in the vessel and that the operator will be located at the bridge.
